Our Student Shines at the Annual Lagos Tennis Tournament

Ahenjir Tesese, a female elementary student at our Lekki campus, has emerged top in the 18th Annual Lagos Country Club Youth Tennis Tournament. The competition was organized by Dr. (Prince) Ademiluyi Tennis Foundation and sponsored by the Human Manager Group. It served as a means of nurturing young minds and fostering diversity, inclusivity and unity in sports. The tournament had young Nigerians from different backgrounds in participation.

After the extraordinary displays of athletic skillfulness and sportsmanship by the students, winners emerged across various categories.  Categories comprised the red ball, orange ball, under 12, 14 and 16 boys and girls.

Although this was her first attempt at the Lagos Tennis Tournament, 6-year-old Ahenjir Tesese, emerged top in the orange ball category. Through this feat, she has proven herself to be a promising talent in the tennis game as she is also a winner of the Future Fusion Tennis Tournament. According to young Ahenjir, very soon, people will see her on TV and the Professional Circuits, representing Nigeria.

In addition to the award she received at the Tennis tournament, Tesese was also awarded fully sponsored digital skills training by the Human Manager Company at Imagine Stem Academy Summer Coding Camp. At the camp, she proceeded to win the best student in her category acquiring skills in block-based coding and robotics simulation. She was given a computer tablet.
