The Learning Support Department at Greensprings School spent weeks meticulously planning assemblies and classroom visits to ensure “Rock Your Socks Day”, in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day, was more than just a fashion statement.
From curating informative videos to sensitizing staff on the nuances of Down Syndrome, the goal was to move beyond awareness toward genuine Inclusivity.
The atmosphere turned electric as students and staff donned mismatched socks, a simple yet powerful symbol of inclusion that perfectly aligns with our values of empathy and inclusivity.
