Greensprings completes the final stage of license as Nigeria’s first Thinking School

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela.

The accreditation process commenced  in November 2017 with the training of Greensprings School teachers. The training was very practical and informative as it involved real life case studies. Thinking hat props and other stimulating materials were used during the workshop and the teachers were given tasks to complete as part of a prerequisite to accreditation.

On Saturday 28 April 2018, a team from Thinking School International (now Thinking Matters), UK, which was led by Teresa Williams were on ground to finalise the accreditation process. They took participants through a 3 day workshop of intensive thinking skill training and periodic assessments.

At the end, Greensprings School is now accredited as Nigeria’s first Thinking School, with 17 of its teachers eligible to train teachers in schools across Nigeria and West Africa, on becoming a “Thinking School”.
