Class of 2024 Celebrates IB Diploma Graduation with Grand Ceremony

The IB Diploma Class of 2024 at our Lekki Campus celebrated a significant milestone on Thursday, June 6, 2024, marking the completion of their rigorous two-year academic journey with a grand ceremony.

The ceremony had in attendance parents, guests, and staff members of the school, along with Mr Osita Chidoka, Former Minister of Aviation, who honoured the event as a keynote speaker.

In his address, Mr Chidoka underscored the need for Nigeria to embrace the IB Diploma programme and re-evaluate its educational system. He highlighted the unique advantages of the IB curriculum, which emphasises critical thinking, global awareness, and a well-rounded education.

His speech also served as a call to action for educators, policymakers, and the broader community to invest in and prioritise educational programs that prepare students for a rapidly changing world. He stressed the importance of creating an environment where students can develop their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

Following the keynote address, our IB Diploma students were celebrated for their exceptional accomplishments and dedication – bagging multiple scholarships from Universities in Europe and North America.

Also, the ceremony featured musical performances, student speeches, and a slideshow capturing memorable moments from the graduates’ time in the IB programme.

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates were encouraged to take the lessons learned during their IB years and apply them to their future endeavours.
