This year’s first career webinar took place on the 22^nd of January, and the focus was on wealth creation and career opportunities in agriculture. The guest speaker on the day was Mr Adedayo Adefioye, the coordinator of the Start Them Early Programme (STEP) at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). During his presentation, he explained the concept of the agricultural value chain and how our students who are passionate about the field can start an agribusiness or build a career in agriculture.

He also talked about new agrotechnologies such as the soilless farming system and how the new technologies are making agriculture more attractive to the youth. Watch the video below to see the recording of the session
