Recent Achievement: UN Honours Greensprings Student

The second edition of Babcock University Model United Nations programme (BIMUN 2018) took place between 8th and 13th July, 2018 at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State Nigeria. The sole representative of Greensprings School, Lunameh Itegboje, demonstrated astute intellectual qualities that were very difficult to ignore.

In attendance were Dr. Soremekun of the United Nations Information Center, Lagos, and about 400 delegates from fifteen countries representing different committees such as the Security Committee, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Economic and Social Commission; the UN women and a host of others.

It was right in front of this calibre of people that Lunameh displayed brilliance at its best. He was part of the delegates that represented the United Nations women (UN Women) at the conference.

Luname, who had gone there as an observer, arrested more attention with his uncommon, ingenious and out-of-the-box approach to intricate issues.

At the end of the programme awards were given to best delegates from the various committees, and he received an award as the overall best delegate and the most organized.

He was also offered the opportunity of attending the next Model United Nations conference in Abuja.

Keep shinning Luname, we are proud of you!!
