National Youth Games 2023: Our Student Made Lagos State Proud

The National Youth Games 2023 recently took place in Asaba, Delta State, and our Anthony campus student Inioluwa Dayo-Dunmoye was one of the shining stars, helping Team Lagos emerge overall winner.
The thrilling event witnessed extraordinary performances by young athletes representing their states with passion and dedication. However, Inioluwa’s achievements at the competition were nothing short of outstanding.

He displayed his prowess in the pool by clinching a gold medal in the Mixed 4 x 50M Medley Relay, a silver medal in the 100M Breaststroke – Boys category, and a bronze medal in the 50M Breaststroke – Boys. These achievements reflect Inioluwa’s dedication, determination, and hard work in perfecting his skills, and he has undoubtedly set a remarkable example for aspiring young athletes.

Mrs Moji Dayo-Dunmoye, Inioluwa’s proud mother, expressed her joy and gratitude for her son’s remarkable achievements, saying, “We are extremely happy about Inioluwa’s performance at the National Youth Games. Parents need to be intentional about discovering kids’ unique gifts and talents. This journey started when Inioluwa was about 5. We realized that he has loads of energy, so we helped him channel it into sports to help him put the energy to positive use. The school also complemented our efforts by helping him to hone his sporting skills. We thank God that our efforts are yielding fruit.”

Inioluwa’s success serves as an inspiring reminder that with dedication, determination, and support from parents and educational institutions, our youth can achieve great heights.
