This November, our Lekki campus male football team participated in the qualifying matches of the maiden edition of Nigerian American Football tournament and triumphed over Olomu Boys, with 24 goals to nil. In the same vein, the female football team played against Olomu Girls and won the match 12 – 0. The girls then went ahead to play the next round of the qualifier with Okemagba High School, winning 6 – 0.
With these results, our boys and girls have secured a spot in the competition, which will start next year. The coaches and referees that witnessed the performances of the students praised them and said the majority of the students will go places if they continue with the pace.
