As part of our Traditional Vocations unit, NCS Year 5 students took a hands-on journey into the vibrant world of tie-dye. With excitement and creativity, they learned the techniques behind this centuries-old craft, creating beautiful, colorful patterns on fabric.

This colorful activity immersed students in the centuries-old craft, where they discovered the techniques and creativity behind making unique tie-dye patterns. Guided by their teachers, each student had the opportunity to experiment with colors, twists, and folds—transforming plain fabric into stunning works of art.

Beyond the fun, this lesson provided a meaningful connection to cultural traditions, helping students appreciate the value and history of vocational crafts passed down through generations.
