IT team may need access to accounts of other students and staff when that individual is not available but access is needed to conduct business or further research. Approval to access the account should be given either by prior proxy access to the individual’s account or by written recommendation and justification by the head of the department or director and approval by a senior leadership team or other designee acting on the basis of approved policy and law.

Security
Greensprings School takes steps to ensure that confidential information collected online is secure. Greensprings School may preserve, access or monitor accounts and equipment during the course of an investigation of misconduct, violations of law or violations of the school business policy by students or employees. Access must be approved in writing by the senior leadership team or other designee acting on the basis of the school policy and law. In accessing the account or equipment, IT officers are expected to avoid accessing information that is personal and irrelevant to the investigation.

Internal Administrative Disclosure
Disclosure or use of any information containing data with a high or moderate security category for extraordinary circumstances must be approved in writing by the senior leadership team or other designee acting on the basis of the school policy and law.

Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
