Heads of School Welcome

Anthony Campus

I have been Head of School at Anthony Campus since October 2008. As a school leader, I have led both the pastoral and the academic areas of different secondary schools and in my most recent post I was Deputy Head of the secondary school and was subsequently promoted to Headteacher. I have worked in my native UK but also in Egypt, Portugal and Jordan before coming here.

I believe the role of Headteacher is first and foremost to ensure learning takes place. This happens within a nurturing environment with children encouraged to take intellectual risks in order to improve. Reflection is also an essential part of the developmental process.

Teachers should equally be committed to improving themselves as practitioners and school leaders should encourage them in this respect.

We encourage parental involvement in their children's learning through our open door policy and through our PTA.

The Anthony Campus community is vibrant and visitors are very welcome to come and experience the joy that is in our school.

Lekki Campus

Greensprings Lekki Campus is a large, modern educational facility situated along the Lekki Peninsula and just over 50 kilometers from the Anthony Campus. Opened in January 2007, as a boarding and day school, the campus has grown exponentially in terms of student numbers and facilities, which are continuing to be developed.

The school, comprising pre-school, elementary and secondary schools, is housed in 6 separate multi- storey buildings.

The pre-school follows the Montessori system which leads on to an enquiry-based programme in the elementary school and on to the secondary school which culminates with the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination and Senior School from September,2010( IB programme).
The Pastoral Centre (boarding house) is situated adjacent to the school buildings and consists of six multilevel buildings. The boarders are accommodated in mainly self contained apartments with a live-in house parent in charge.
