Greensprings School, Lagos was founded in 1985 as a Montessori Pre-School. Just three students were on the register in the beginning, but we have undergone a great deal of growth and transformation since those early years.

The school is driven by the vision of the founder and proprietress, Mrs. Lai Koiki. We aim to deliver education of the very highest quality within a disciplined framework that allows every child to develop to their full potential. The school now has over 1000 students and encompasses an age range of 18 months to 16 years.

Our Anthony Campus has experienced a great deal of growth and development and early in 2006, the decision was taken to move ahead with the development of the new Lekki Campus which opened in January 2007. < more ...>

The school is driven by the vision of the founder and proprietress, Mrs. Lai Koiki. We aim to deliver education of the very highest quality within a disciplined framework that allows every child to develop to their full potential. The school now has over 1000 students at Anthony and over 500 at Lekki Campus. The age ranges from 18 months to 16 years.

Our Anthony Campus has experienced a great deal of growth and development and early in 2006, the decision was taken to move ahead with the development of the new Lekki Campus which opened in January 2007.

Pre-School : Over the last few years, our original Montessori School has been reinvigorated with a focus on staff training and development and new Montessori equipment. The classrooms have a fresh and exciting feel and are focussed on the needs of our youngest students as they make fresh and exciting discoveries about the world and themselves.

Elementary : The Elementary School has embarked on the accreditation process for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. In August 2006, we were accepted as a Candidate School for the PYP. This has allowed us to pursue our goals of internationally acclaimed standards of excellence combined with an education culture that encourages children to ask questions and seek out answers.

Secondary : Our Secondary School was the first in Nigeria to offer the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and we have an enviable record of excellence both in academic and non-academic fields. Greensprings is known for the quality of its music and drama programmes as well as a growing sport and extra curricular programme.

Boarding : Our Lekki Campus offers both day and boarding facilities. The home-away-from-home boarding accommodation is situated at this purpose-built Lekki Campus. Our Boarding Centres offer a secure and happy environment and are available to students from the age of 10. They provide a structured environment that allows students to learn away from distractions.
