Greensprings School (Anthony Campus) began with 3 Pre-School students in 1985 and has since grown to include an Elementary School, Secondary School and Sixth Form with almost 1000 students aged 18 months to 18 years. Greensprings is a pioneer in Nigeria and is at the forefront of educational development in the country.
By September 2008, Greensprings Anthony Campus will change from a day and boarding school to a day school only as the boarding accommodation moves out to our new Lekki Campus that offers both day and boarding facilities. The additional space this provides will allow for more specialist classrooms at Anthony and a Montessori Training Centre in the next few years.
Our Anthony Campus offers a wide range of educational facilities including science laboratories, art, music and drama studios, computer laboratories, cyber café, library with online research facilities and dedicated Montessori classrooms. We have invested in Information and Communications Technology (computer) infrastructure that allows our students access to the internet and teaching through the use of interactive whiteboards. The students have access to a wide range of play equipment and games during recess.
Student leadership opportunities are offered through the Prefects (Elementary and Secondary), the Prefects' Council (including class representatives) and the School Charities Committee.
The Parents and Teachers Association provides outstanding support for school activities and events and organises the Welcome Cocktail Party (October), Mothers' Day (March), Children's Day (May), Father's Day (June) and Staff Appreciation Day (June). They also support Sports Day, Pre-School Activities Day, the Library, the Taekwondo Tournament and many other events.
Meetings are held every term and the Executive Committee meets regularly and is supported by the Activities Committee.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
