Mr. Bruce Stevenson – Director of Education and Head of School Lekki Campus.

Bruce Stevenson was born and educated in New Zealand and has worked in the South-west Pacific, South-east Asia and now West Africa.

Mr. Stevenson has enjoyed three successful careers. Prior to becoming a teacher he served with the New Zealand Army, including active service in Borneo with the Special Air Service.

Mr. Solomon Aboyowa – Secondary Principal, Lekki Campus
Mr. Aboyowa has been engaged in teaching, educational management and consultancy for the better part of 26 years. He has taken senior management positions in public and private secondary schools and brings in a wealth of competences garnered over the years.
He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Ibadan; and both his post graduate diploma in Business Management and his Master's degree in Education from the University of Benin.

Mr. Sylvester Nwachukwu, Assistant Principal Secondary. Mr. Nwachukwu originates from Abia State although his university studies were undertaken in Pakistan.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Panjab University and a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance from the MS University of Baroda. After a period teaching at the Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls, Mr. Nwachukwu joined Greensprings in 1998. In 2002 he became Head of Business Studies and in 2005 was appointed Head of Years 8 and 9. He therefore brings a wealth of both academic and pastoral experience to his role.

Mrs. Ruth Bello-Giwa , Assistant Principal / Boarding Supervisor. Much of Mrs. Bello-Giwa's own education was spent in the United Kingdom where she experienced life in two boarding schools, namely St. Martha's Convent School in London and the prestigious Millfield School in Somerset where she took her ‘A' Levels.

After a period of travel that took her to both the States and the Far East she read Law at the Ahmadu Bello Univeristy. Mrs. Bello-Giwa's teaching career began at Kaduna International School and she has been an Elementary School teacher at Greensprings for the past five years. She was appointed the Literacy Coordinator for the Elementary School in 2003.

Mrs. Chinenye Sunkanmi, Assistant Principal / Director of Sport and Extra-Curricular Activities. Mrs. Sunkanmi is a graduate of both Lagos State University and the University of Ibadan. Her degrees are in Physical and Health Education and Sports Administration. Mrs. Sunkanmi brings a wealth of educational experience to her role and she has been at Greensprings since 2002. She was appointed Head of Physical Education in 2005 and has been involved in many sporting initiatives both within Greensprings and outside it. Mrs. Sunkanmi is totally committed to providing the widest possible range of activities at the Lekki Campus, not only on the sports field but also in Music, Drama and other spheres.

 

MRS. GRACE I. BERNARD-OTI, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Bernard-Oti has 22 years of post graduate experience which began in the financial industry. Her desire to make a career in teaching made her join Greensprings School in 1997 as an Assistant Teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Ife, an Advanced Certificate in Educational Management from the University of Leicester in the UK, and is presently studying for an MBA in Educational Management from the same university.

MR. ABRAHAM OGUNKANMBI, MONTESSORI DIRECTOR / ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Mr. Ogunkanmbi is a distinguished educationalist with over 21 years experience in tertiary, post primary and most importantly, nursery / primary schools, in Nigeria and the UK. He has been in Greensprings School as Montessori Director since 2003. He possesses a BEd from the University of Ibadan, an International Montessori Diploma and a Montessori Trainers' Certificate from the UK, and an MPA from the University of Benin.
